T’ai Chi Chih!
What is T’ai Chi Chih?
T’ai Chi Chih (pronounced “tie chee chuh”) is a mindful, moving mediation. It consists of nineteen soft, gentle movements and one pose. It was originated in 1974 by Tai Chi Chuan Master Justin Stone to develop, circulate and balance the natural body energies (“Chi”). Many people have found that practicing Tai Chi Chih gives them a greater sense of well-being, more energy, and less stress.
Where can I find out more information about T’ai Chi Chih?
More information can be found on taichichih.org.
More information about Justin Stone, the originator of T’ai Chi Chih, can be found at justinstonetcc.com. This site has a lot of his teachings and written works, videos, etc.
There is also tcccommunity.net. This site is for both students and teachers of T’ai Chi Chih. If you are interested in medical studies that used T’ai Chi Chih they are also found on this site.

Tell me more about the classes!
All classes are held at Core Crown Point located in the basement of the Old Courthouse in downtown Crown Point.
All classes are one hour long and are every week for 8 weeks. Evening classes start October 9th at 6:00 pm and daytime classes start October 6th at 10:00 am. Note: The last evening class is December 4th, no class on Thanksgiving!
Cost for the entire session is $80.00. Unfortunately, I don’t have a good way to do registrations and accept payments through this web page (for now), so I am accepting payments as cash at the first class. I can also take payments through PayPal and Venmo. For Venmo use the telephone number (219)789-2077. You can register by contacting me, email is preferred nwitcc@proton.me or use the form below.
If there is enough interest I will be starting a “continuing” T’ai Chi Chih class later in the Fall. They will be for students who have already been introduced to T’ai Chi Chih or who have completed a beginning class. There will be very little instruction and will mostly be a directed practice. Time and cost still to be worked out.
